Our season of trail work is officially over. We will do our best at basic maintenance to keep the trail functioning as best as possible through the winter but major work (like the root wads) will wait until spring.
Drainage and then danger trees/clearing/maintenance will be first spring priorities.

is hosting a get together on Thursday November the 19th at the Dragon Fly Cafe from 6 to 7pm. It has been a very productive year for the society and they would like to thank all the volunteers for their efforts and get some ideas for next season. There will be baked goods and hot drinks. Here is our updated map showing the completed 3km Sunset Loop, the Sunsrise Trail to the top and a sneak preview of our next project…an intermediate trail from top to bottom…stay tuned!

We are still getting after it at the ski hill and working hard to finish the Sunset Trail to the top!
This Sunday, Oct. 18th, we will be there from 10-1.
Next Sunday, Oct 25 we are hosting another mega-build day and Barbeque for the final push to the top. We will be there from 10 – 3.

What is a MEGA build day you ask? We hope to entice a MEGA amount of people to come out and participate in trail building by offering child minding, snacks, a BBQ and the chance to say that YOU helped get the Sunset Loop open for business. Bring your walking shoes or your bike for an end of the day loop.
Many hands make light work and we could really use the community support on the final bits of trail work! Memberships available on the day, $15 for adults, $5 for school aged youth, $30 for a family.
