Join us Sunday October 6th at 7 pm in the Salmo Valley Youth Community Centre for a movie might.
We will be showing the documentary ‘Life Cycles’ .
Tickets are $5 at the door ($2 for children under 5).
Life Cycles tells a
spectacular story of the bike,
from its creation to its eventual
demise.
A visually stunning journey,
with thought provoking
narration, Life Cycles uses 4k
Ultra HD to document the many
stories surrounding the
mountain bike and its culture.
The movie is approximately one hour long.

Come on out to KP Park from 12-4pm this Sunday September 15 to help with the building and shaping of dirt jumps at the KP Bike Skills Park.
Bring a shovel and/or rake if you have it, gloves if you want them and water and a hat in case it is warm out. Feel free to invite others, this is an open community event.
Please note large equipment and machinery will be working on site Saturday and we ask that people stay back and away. Come down and watch but for safety reasons please keep your distance.
Thanks and see you there!

We will be hosting another fall meeting towards the end of the month, this time in Ymir. Another opportunity to share ideas and talk about current progress.
planning has begun for future trails on the Salmo Ski Hill. We would love to have input from a few more hikers and walkers about what they want to see. If all goes well we should have some route plans to display at our next public meeting.

Have you seen the big pile of dirt at KP Park? In a short while this will be shaped into a new bike park . We are working with the Village to secure machine time to move the dirt where we need it and then we will be calling out to YOU and the rest of the community to come on out and help shovel, shape and rake our new jumps and features.
