Sept. 25 Mega Build Day

Posted by on Sep 19, 2016 in Upcoming Projects | 0 comments

The days are getting shorter but our trail is getting longer!
Come out to help finish off the middle section of ‘Inducer’, Salmo’s newest singletrack.

There will be Pizza and Prizes!!
Our objective is finishing the next section of Inducer, which we promise is mellower than the lower section. There are a couple bridges left to build, digging and finishing. We will meet at the base of the ski hill at 10am and carpool up to “the flats” where Sunset west crosses the west run.
Thanks to Cottontail Catering we will be serving up pizza in the afternoon and we have 3 great giveaway prizes! If you can’t join right at 10am no problem, we’ll leave directions. Bring gloves and water and your favourite trail tool if you wish. Hope to see you there!

Our season of trail work is officially over. We will do our best at basic maintenance to keep the trail functioning as best as possible through the winter but major work (like the root wads) will wait until spring.
Drainage and then danger trees/clearing/maintenance will be first spring priorities.
Please use the trail at your own risk.
